Dr Ilie consults from his rooms at 23 Canning Street, Launceston.

Dr Ilie is an Australian trained Specialist in Urology. Dr Ilie completed his specialist training in NSW in 2020 gaining exposure to all facets of urological pathology. Dr Ilie worked as a Consultant in Canberrs during 2021, gaining further experience in oncology of the renal tract (both minimally invasive and open approaches), renal stone disease and voiding pathology.

Dr Ilie has a strong research background undertaking a year of full time research with the Transplant Laboratory at the University of Sydney and received the Myee Codrigton Scholarship. He published in the fields of immunology, transplantation models and surgical skills teaching and training.

Teaching and education is a constant interest for Dr Ilie. The experience of being involved first hand in running an experimental microsurgery laboratory early in his training, then becoming an instructor for post graduate practical courses culminated with an appointment as a Senior Lecturer with the Universit of Tasmania.
